White Tee’s provide a classic come through when you’re in a rush. They’re simple enough to make you look good and easy enough for you not to muck it up. That’s probably why its they’re such a classic. They can be worn under an open casual shirt and pair well, when appropriately styled, with just about anything. Outside of them being easy, they’re great at showcasing the work we’ve done to our upper bodies at the gym and generally only require a quick but effective conversation with an iron. The most important thing to remember when using the white tee as more than an undershirt is that it has a huge influence on your outfit's comfort and fit, and if its not worn right it can make you look like a slob.
No matter how easy the white tee is, there is are only two rules. Rule one is to make sure its clean and rule two is to make sure it fits! The goal is to find one that highlights the best attributes of your body without looking like its painted on. Make sure that the sleeves are fitted around the arms and that the seams rest perfectly on the edge of your shoulders. You want it to be long enough to be tucked in, but please don’t tuck it in. Pay attention to ensure that the tee conforms to the curve of your body and remember that a tapered look is best because it doesn’t drape your waistline and, lets face it, its more flattering.
